Work Shmork

Ha! It's not Monday and I'm blogging. Tricked you!

I will take a moment to capture the highlights of my week which can quite easily be summarized into two categories: work and school. I wake up in the morning and go to work. I come home from work and do school work. I fall into bed. Next day? Same deal. It's great. You should try it. There was even a day I took school to work and skipped my lunch break.

Some would call that devoted. Persistent. Hardworking. Me? Totally different word.

At this time, I would like you to note the lack of eating, bathing, or remembering my husband's name. We won't even touch on housework or doing the dishes. We're going to leave those last two alone.

One day this week I decided to read through a magazine related to my work (I know, it's shocking, but roll with me here) which had a feature article on the course I'm planning to start in September. (It's a conspiracy.) This is the day that I read that the course could require anywhere from 5-25 hours of homework per week. Hours. Of homework. Per week.

I'm in big trouble.

Do any of you have a few hours that you could spare that I could borrow? I'm taking up a collection.

Alternatively, if any of you want to clean my house...?

  1. 5-25 hours!? 5 would be bad enough, but 25?!!!! Yikes.

  2. did you notice this is not really a schmozzle? you basically numbered your sentences. I think this should be entitled 'Work Shmork', and save XXVI for the next schmozzle.

What do you think? I'm sure you have a lot of free time to do that ;)
