Love {♥}

Oh man, I'm going to get all mushy.  Avert your eyes if you can't handle it.

Life's been stressful lately. Today was no different. I spent the afternoon at a somewhat intense meeting with a supplier and two coworkers. Some people do not have the gift of tact which can make certain situations a little volatile.

I came home, however, to a small brown box tucked between the screen and front doors.
Just a small brown box with my name on it, a hand-drawn heart and a return address that brought an immediate smile to my face.

Sometimes love comes in the mail. And sometimes you spell 'love' with the words 'Vera Bradley'. ♥

An hour later, my mother sent me an email. In it were the photos she took of Len and I this summer when we were camping with family.  (This was the Sunday afternoon at my sister's place.)

I think this photo pretty much says it better than I could:

I remember I got a fortune cookie once that said, 'You will be deeply loved'. I used to keep it in my wallet, waiting for the day that fortune would come true.  I remember showing it to my mom once; she leaned in close and said, 'You already are, dear one.'

Ain't that the truth.
I'll take the stress.
My cup overflows...
