1. Hopefully using Roman numerals for the number thirty doesn't set off some sort of filter in Blogger land.  If you get a message about questionable content when you try to check the blog, it might be that.  Eeps!

2. I'm finding it harder to keep up with blogging now that Len and I are both finished school for a few weeks.  The relaxation schedule is pretty hardcore, but I'm trying to do better.

3. It has been decided that I cannot make coffee.  I've tried several times over the past several weeks, and I cannot seem to brew a pot that doesn't either insult real coffee or make hair grow on my chest.  I tried following Len's formula, but apparently there's something in the way he scoops or pours water into the pot that I have yet to master. I'm assuming it has something to do with wrist action...

4. This past week I logged into Runner's World and downloaded a training schedule for the Road to Hope for this fall.  Using their Smart Coach, I was able to plug in my stats (previous race time, weekly mileage, long race day) and they put together an 11 week training schedule for me to follow so that I can train.  It's very exciting!  Now, if I can just convince my Nike+ to calibrate properly, I'm golden!

5. Two of my sisters might be joining me for the race on Nov. 6th. I'm super excited about being active with my sisters (if they're able to come) so I think it could be a very fun race day.

6. While last year I only ran the Road to Hope, this year I hope to collect pledges and run for World Wide Christian Schools.  I encourage anyone in the area during that weekend to sign up to run/walk for a great cause!  It's a fast, mostly flat, easy course, and by that time the fall colours should be beautiful!  I hope to see you there!

7. Yesterday at 9PM Len decided he wanted an ice cream.  This is somewhat unusual.  Typically I'm the one craving sweets in the evening; because it was so rare for him to be that spontaneous and we had coupons for free ice cream at McDonald's, off we went!

8. Sacha has since forgiven us for taking her to the vet for her annual shots. She's wonderfully healthy and everyone at the Cat Clinic agreed she is a very pretty girl.  I think it may have gone to her head, though.

  1. It cracks me up that now that you DON'T have school work to ignore, you aren't blogging. :D
