For those of you wondering what's happening with my photo blog, here is your answer:
Not much.
Of course, you already knew that. Turns out, taking a photo a day for an entire year is not as easy as it sounds. Many of the friends who started the project with me have discovered the same thing, and a precious few have managed to stick with it.
For a bit there, I was just too busy to take photos. As the weather turned beautiful, however, I realized I was still taking photos, I just wasn't posting them. Then I realized I was posting them: to Facebook. Not my blog.
So this morning I sat down and updated what I could. I do still hope to put together a mini coffee table book of the best photos, so I uploaded a good majority of those and freshened up the blog's appearance a bit. I started July 20, 2009 and I'm pretty sure I can manage to pull out a few weeks worth of photos until then. (I even linked it over there on the right in case you'd like to hold me accountable.)
Of course, I had to do the calculations to see how well I fared. I have 186 photos posted currently. There are thirty seven more days left to post, which means I will have managed a total of 223 photos. All said and done, I have managed a moderately satisfying 61% overall.
With just a bit of cheating along the way.
Oh cool! I'm gonna go check out your snaps. :) I'm sure they are awesome just like you.
