Dear Longing Heart, Despite the hustle and bustle inherent at this time of year, let us begin quietly. Let us walk through our worship today with a single, quiet prayer simmering in our hearts. 'Come, Lord Jesus. Come.' You don't need to raise your hands or even wear a smile. Today, at the start of yet another Advent season, let us simply speak this prayer.
If today, on this first Sunday of Advent, we whisper no other longing, let it be this: Come, Thou long-expected Jesus. Please.
