XXXVII

1.  If last night you heard something similar to a giant sigh of relief rolling out over the snow and ice, that was probably me.  If you heard this sound at approximately 9:01 PM EST (accounting properly, of course, for the speed of sound traveling over considerable distance), it was definitely me.  The timing coincides perfectly with the moment I handed in my final exam, shook my professor's hand and ran screaming from the room.  Ok, no screaming. Just a nice sigh of relief.

2. For the record, whoever decided that in 2010 a final case report should be hand written in an exam setting is no longer my friend. If they weren't my friend to start off with, they should consider themselves permanently de-friendified.  I could type for hours without a cramp. I apparently cannot write for more than ten minutes without my hand feeling like it's been in a vice grip all day.

3. My backspace key for the evening:
4. Someone posted a spoiler for who won The Amazing Race on Facebook.  That's all I have to say about that.

5. As I was driving home last night, I had this great idea for a bi-weekly bloggie series.  You'll love it.  As I was pondering potential series content, it occurred to me that the twenty six letters of the alphabet coincide perfectly with a bi-weekly series.  It's also about that time that I realized I'd missed the first exit I was supposed to take, and was moments away from missing the second exit.  I may or may not have crossed three lanes of traffic to take the exit that made me backtrack only slightly to get back home.

6. I believe I should pass along the advice that if you are anything like me, you should not mentally blog while driving.  It's a form of impairment.

7. Trying to sort out the winners/leaders/champions in the What's This Wednesday segment of this blog is becoming cumbersome. I'm either making it easy or you're all too smart for me.  Probably both.  I have, instead, decided to start handing out gold stars.  This week I shall hand out a gold star to Rachel for beating Dawn to first guess (and guessing correctly) and another gold star to Esther who spelled 'Rubik's' correctly and then emailed me repeatedly asking whether that counted for something.  Persistence paid off, my friend.

7. And, in closing: Do. Da. Dippety.  C'mon!

I am glad I wasn't the Amazing Race spoiler but isn't it great who won?
