Prayer Request

These beautiful people are my amazing parents.

They (and the rest of my family) are dealing with some incredibly difficult news today; investigation into some swallowing issues that my mom was facing has uncovered a word so difficult to hear: cancer.

I can't go into details here because so much is still unknown, but if you could add my parents to your prayer list, I would be incredibly grateful.
I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD,

    really? That is harsh news - I'm sorry to hear that, but as you already know, our Lord is awesome and is in control. I will keep you all in my prayers that the news turns good and you have the strength and comfort to keep turning to God in times of need. Hugs.

    We will hold you in our thoughts and prayers. Not knowing the details is often the hardest part. We were where you are almost exactly 2 years ago, with my Dad. Wishing you and the whole family much strength.
