I then happened upon Brady whilst he slept. This is no feat. That cat sleeps a lot. Which might actually be the understatement of the year.
You have to understand that Brady is a bit of a spaz. He doesn't like the camera. He actually went through a phase where he thought the camera flash was lightning and he would hide under the bed. We've moved past that, thankfully, but anyone who has attempted to photograph cats knows the challenge this presents. Until, apparently, you catch them in a patch of sun on a lazy Saturday morning. He sleeps...
But he's on to me.Do you mind?
I'm really quite annoyed now. Look, even my ear is shy.
(After I give him a bit of a belly rub to coax him to cooperate..)Ahhhh... moooore...
Why'd you stop?
Seriously, Mom. My ear is messed up!
That's better. Are we done yet?
That's my boy...
Okay, Thelma, I have to come out of lurkdom when you put such adorable pictures on your blog!! I'm so glad Brady got you as his "mommy" because it's very obvious you love him to bits! How old is he now?

I was thinking you'd reply to this one, Alina... Tigger and Brady were three when we got them in May 2003... so he'll be 10 this year! And we certainly do love him to bits! He's pretty crazy spoiled! :)
ReplyDeleteNice shots!
ReplyDeleteVery nice pics! Of course I'm always a tad partial to cat and dog shots and these are real cute.
