My Favourite Things: Monday

Today's category: the bathroom.

That's not too weird, right?

Today's favourite thing: my Norwex body cloths.

I think now is a good time to tell you that I don't use soap. I haven't used soap in over a year. And I love it. I feel cleaner and fresher, and my skin (especially in the winter months) thanks me.

If you've never heard of Norwex, they sell some amazing anti bacterial microfiber clothes. They have general purpose, kitchen, and these amazing little body clothes:You don't use soap.

I can see several of you sitting there with furrowed brows of skepticism. I was once such a skeptic.

Now? I'll never go back. Just use it like you normally would in the shower, give it a good rinse, squeeze out the excess water and hang it to dry. No soap. While the cloth dries it self-sanitizes. (This has something to do with the silver they use in the cloths, but I don't really understand it.) By the next time you're ready to use it, it smells fresh and clean and ready to be used again.
I'm not kidding. No soap. It cleans me and then it cleans itself. Even after a crazy sweaty runs it does its work like magic.

Saturday morning, my body cloths were already packed in my suitcase which meant that I had to wash the old fashioned way with soap and wash cloth. That's when I realized my next favourite thing had to be these wonderful little cloths.
We shall now pause for a brief oh-so subtle plug for my sister, who happens to sell Norwex. Intrigued? Email me or leave a comment, and I'll put you in touch with her.

Your turn!
You know there are things in your bathroom that make you smile. Don't be shy.

  4. Thelma - Audrey here ... I have a favorite thing in my bathroom too, my tweezers. I have to watch that I don't go too crazy with them and leave my eyebrows non existent, but still - I'm thankful for them.
