Blessed...

Friday night we went to visit friends and had a lovely time eating some amazing lasagna and playing Knights and Cities. We got home quite late and I noticed there was a message on the machine but was too exhausted to check it.

Saturday morning the phone rings. A friend, calling to say that so-and-so is moving, has an extra microwave and would like us to have it. Would we mind to come pick it up today?

Ummm... okaaay...

So off we went.

Apart from getting a pretty much brand new microwave gifted to us, it was a wonderful surprise of a day. We hadn't seen these friends for a bit, and in a fun, spontaneous way, we ended up splitting up and spending the day together. The girls went shopping and the guys went off to get into their own brand of trouble.

Delicious burgers and homemade fries for dinner, two miserable rounds of euchre, and another late night. But well worth it.

We are oh-so blessed.
